What does a Designer do at WeDecor?
A Designer at WeDecor will pitch, design, and manage the execution of their projects. WeDecor provides comprehensive support, including access to a fresh client base, proprietary online tools, an extensive catalog of furniture, decor, products, and services, as well as a valuable network of community managers, vendor managers, category managers, and service partners.
How does WeDecor help me increase my income?

What level of work experience is required to become a Designer?
We expect a minimum of 1-2 years of work or freelance experience.

Absolutely! Our Designer program is inclusive, whether you’re a specialized studio, a solo entrepreneur, or have offices in all the cities where we operate. We welcome all to join our thriving community.

Is there an interview process to become a Designer with WeDecor?
Yes, there is. To enroll as a Designer, you’ll need to go through a standardized interview process, which includes a basic test and face-to-face interviews. Rest assured, this process helps us get to know you better.
Is it mandatory to attend the training and onboarding process?
Yes, it’s mandatory. As a Designer, understanding our processes and policies is vital so that you can represent our brand effectively. Additionally, since we heavily rely on technology to manage project pipelines, some training is necessary to become familiar with our tools.
Who will be my WeDecor point of contact once I become a Designer?
Your designated community manager will be your primary contact once you successfully complete the onboarding process and become a Designer.
How will my community manager assist me?
From onboarding and training to process support, addressing issues, handling payments, and providing moral support, your assigned community manager (CM) is your go-to person for everything related to WeDecor.
Designing & Earning
How many project leads can I expect to receive?
As many as you can handle, and this is not an exaggeration. Your community manager will assign you fresh leads as your existing sales pipeline clears. For instance, if you can manage three projects in the design phase and have two in execution, with one in the pitch stage, your manager will provide you with new leads to start pitching immediately. These numbers are indicative, as each Designer’s capacity varies, so it’s crucial to assess your own capacity.
Does WeDecor filter the leads sent to Designers?
Yes, we do. Our technology and digital marketing tools validate each lead that comes in. Leads that fall outside our scope or serviceable pin codes are automatically disqualified. Our community managers then assign leads to Designers based on their serviceable location, scope, and budget.
How many projects can I work on simultaneously as a Designer?
You can work on as many projects as you can handle! You will have unlimited access to fresh project leads to choose from. On average, our design partners typically handle about six projects at various stages in their sales pipeline.
What is Canvas by WeDecor?
Canvas is our proprietary cloud-based platform designed to assist you in designing, organizing, and managing your projects. It enables collaboration with your team, scheduling meetings, and order tracking, allowing you to design and earn without hassles.
Are my ratings and earnings connected?
Yes, they are. Your ratings are based on your performance and overall client satisfaction. A superior home design experience for your clients reflects positively in your earnings.
Can I meet clients at any of the Partner Design Centers?
Certainly! Our Design Centres are specifically designed to facilitate meetings, conversions, and superior design experiences for your clients.
Do I receive design assistance from WeDecor?
Yes, you do. For all modular products, we assign design assistants to help with visualization and validation of the modular design.
What is the incentive/commission structure?
Your incentives structure comprises a fixed component and a variable component tied to your ratings. If your projects run smoothly with high client satisfaction, you can expect higher earnings. However, your overall earnings are directly linked to the order value of the projects you undertake – the larger the order value, the greater your earnings.
How do payments and incentives work?
Commission payouts are transferred via NEFT on or before the 10th of the following month after your client makes a payment to us.
Delivery & Installation
Do I need to oversee on-site work daily?
Apart from the scheduled site visits during your project’s duration, it’s not mandatory to be on-site daily. However, you are welcome to visit as often as you’d like to check on progress and quality. As the project owner, you can either appoint a supervisor on your behalf or request a site supervisor from WeDecor (for a fee). We regularly audit the work and provide feedback, if necessary, to you and the service partner.
Can I recommend contractors for WeDecor projects?
Certainly! Feel free to recommend contractors to our Services team, and they will be onboarded if they meet our quality standards.
